Virtual Big Brother 1 the very first game of Virtual Big Brother introduced 16 players who were nearly all strangers to one another. Of the 16 players, RJ, Nick and Jolana had played in a different game together. The other players discovered this, considered them veteran players of online games making them the easy early target. Early on in the game Sarah bonded with Kate and together these two players executed a very strategic and social game, ingratiating themselves within several alliances of players all the while remaining ultimately true to one another. Kate also had a very close alliance with Vinney and would eventually begin working wit Nick but due to his prior game experience, this made him a larger threat to eliminate once they were at a point in the game where Kate and her side alliance were the majority. Kevin would become the first evicted player from season 1. Mike played a very deceptive game which was slowly becoming evident among players in the game who would eventually turn against him and vote him out to the jury. RJ decided that it was good for his game to target Stacy and actively campaigned to get her nominated and evicted, but it was a reversal of fortune as others in the game preferred Stacy over RJ. This left "vet" players Jolana and Nick who remained the major targets, Jolana would be the next player to go to jury. Nick finding new life in a late-game alliance with Kate hoped it could keep him safe, as promised by Kate, until the end, however it proved to ultimately be his undoing and he was sent to the jury as well. Kate and Sarah would find themselves competing against one another in the final 2 of that game, with Sarah earning runner up and Kate being voted the winner.
